REMINDERS:

The District Office is closed Fridays and will be closed 12/25-12/26 and 1/1/2025.
Renew online or by mail.
We encourage everyone to renew online! Online submission is quicker & saves postage!

ONLINE:

District Council dues - do NOT need to be up to date in order to submit renewal online.
General Council dues - must be up to date.

BY MAIL:

If you would like to receive a paper copy of your renewal to mail, please call the Credentialing Office at (916) 379-9600.
Renewals must be received (at the DRC) and postmarked by 12/31 to avoid a $50 late fee.
Renewals received after 1/15/25 will result in a lapsed credential and will be subject to a $150 reinstatement fee.
If paying District tithe and General Council dues by check, please write two separate checks.
If writing one check for multiple ministers general, please write all names on check in memo.

DISTRICT TITHE / GENERAL COUNCIL DUES:

To pay your District tithe balance over the phone call Sondra Miller in accounting (916) 379-9600 x 1116.
To discuss your tithe balance due to a financial hardship contact Faith Gallup (916) 379-9600 x 1115.
Failure to be current with your District tithe and General Council dues will result in a lapsed credential and subject to a $150 reinstatement fee.
If paying District tithe via credit card online or through ACH automatic withdrawal and your card declines, it is your responsibility to contact us to update your card info.
If you carry over a district balance into 2025, there will be a fee of $17.50.
If you intend to lapse, please notify Faith Gallup at (916) 379-9600 x 1115.

2025 Sectional Business Meetings

All Business Sessions will be done by the Executive & District Presbyter

Every new year brings some changes, and this year we will be changing how we handle the section business meetings. This is not the first time that we have made changes to these –many years ago, the sections handled this themselves. In the late 90’s, the district officers began to conduct all meetings. During COVID, we held meetings online. Now it’s time to change again.

This year we are asking the section to hold the meetings live-in-person, at a time that is convenient for each section, and we are asking the Executive Presbyters to chair those meetings.

The agenda for the meeting is assigned in the bylaws: elect a nominee for Regional Executive Presbyter, elect a Presbyter for the section, and elect a Section Leadership Committee. That’s the business part of the meeting. The rest of the meeting is up to the section. Those dates and times are mentioned below.

Some sections like to meet for a meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) while others simply want to meet. We are accommodating these preferences and leaving these details to the section.
