NCN Student Ministries is responsible for providing a healthy spiritual experience for the young people of our district. Our goal is to partner with the hundreds of youth programs in churches throughout our district in order to see supernatural results in the lives of the young people of our district. Our purpose is to see a healthy youth ministry in every church in the Northern California and Nevada District of the Assemblies of God. We do this by mentoring, modeling, and mobilizing youth ministry in the Student Ministries Office and throughout our district.

PRESENCE CONFERENCE || November 2025

The only thing worthy of passing on to the NextGen is the presence of God. His presence contains His power. Having an experience with the Holy Spirit keeps young people connected to Jesus through times of doubt and discouragement. We desire to raise up a generation who loves and lives in His presence!

Commissioning a Generation by Creating CEO’s?

CEO: a student who is CALLED, with a desire to be EQUIPPED and a passion to stay ORIGINAL?

NCN builds pastors and resources the local church. We believe building a pastor, missionary, evangelist, or church planter starts at a young age. Here is how we desire to foster the call of God in the next generation . . .

  • Disciples students in how to steward their Calling and live a life worthy of their calling.

  • Creating atmospheres conducive to hearing God’s call (i.e., yth convention, summer camp, called camp).

  • Recognize students who are called with a commissioning certificate and ceremony.

  • Offer online courses for those who want to become commissioned ministers.

  • Help students find internship availability after High School that will help them gain ministry experience whether in a rural or urban setting.

  • Build the local church through empowering a generation to follow the call of God on their lives.

What is Fine Arts Festival?

Fine Arts Festival is a discipleship tool of NCN Student Ministries designed to help students discover, develop and deploy their ministry gifts. This is done by providing a space where Jr. High and High School students can perform or exhibit their talents and art to qualified adjudicators who will then provide constructive feedback for students. Students will also have the opportunity to receive an invitation to the National Fine Arts Festival where they can compete for scholarships and receive even more feedback to help develop their talents for ministry.
